Resolution issues with Ubuntu

Hey,

Long time SD game player as far back as GC2 and the OG elemental. I recently purchased GC4 on Steam and having issues with resolution.

System specs:

Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS

NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 2080 Ti

Dual monitors: main 4k, secondary 1080p

By default the game starts at full screen and in this setting locks the resolution to 5120 x 2880. When unchecking full screen and setting it to 4k, the game display in a small window - perhaps because the monitor is set to 150% scale?

I tried changing value in the setting file;

Fullscreen=1
DisplayResolution=3840 x 2160
DisplayResolutionCheckEnabled=1

I tried setting launch options:

-screen-width 3840 -screen-height 2160

-fullscreen -screen-width 3840 -screen-height 2160

-popupwindow -screen-width 3840 -screen-height 2160

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% -screen-width 3840 -screen-height 2160

It either doesn't work, or freezes my system. Anyway to solve this?
