Major memory issue?

I began to have issues with my computer. My cursor was very "jittery". Was not working often when clicking on icons and links. I had no clue what the issue was. My PC was "clean" with no memory issues and defrag was good. So, I decided to start uninstalling things in an attempt to see what the issue was. I uninstalled Fences 6 first. Immediately my computer ran like new!!!

Is there a way I can still use Fences ?? Feed back please!!

Thanks,

Rick Heath

At best that only indicates something is conflicting with Fences, not that Fences is a problem.

If the problem was specific to Fences we would be inundated with similar posts, which we are not.

That defines the issue is 'specific' to your system installation and a combination of Fences and another program is causing a conflict.

First thing you'll need to do is list Windows Version details and Fences Ver and list all other installed software, as it will be one of the latter causing the problem...;)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, just need to make sure Fences was properly installed. Please try, if you already reinstall it. Uninstall Fences, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, we need more information.

  1. Your Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Fences full version number.
  3. If Fences was working properly before, what changed? New software installed or updated? New drivers? Any other that might causing the issue?

Thank you,
