Start11 not showing recently used programs

Hi all,

I was a previous Start10 user for years without issue. I recently installed Windows 11 (ugh) and installed Start11. I chose the Windows 7 style. My issue is that the panel on the left that lists recently used programs is not updating correctly. It will list recently used apps like Windows Clock or the new Notepad app, but not regular programs like Notepad++, Discord, Powershell, etc.

I did some research ans changed the personalization settings to what was listed, but that hasn't fixed the issue. Any advice? Thank you.
