Fences 2 feature I miss in 5 and 6

Where did remove fence and delete files go?

I used Fences 2 for many years and recently started using 5 and 6 on my computers, and I realised that you can no longer delete files along with removing a fence, as shown here on an install of Fences 2

I can't find any documentation about this feature so I'm sure why it was removed? But is it something that could be added again as it is an occasionally handy option when organising my desktop!

Hi wolfpurplemoon!

Yes it was rarely used and so was removed for simplicity. Many were confused about why you'd want to delete all the icons in a group to begin with. Adding an option to "Select All" might make sense, so that folks can do batch operations on everything in a fence in general, not just delete.

Wondering what your usage case was around this? Do you have more than a few icons in a group? How often does this occur and why is this useful to you. Thanks for info.

It was just a handy feature when I was using a fence for a temporary project and didn't need the files when I was done, I like the idea of adding some sort of batch operations feature though!
