Deskscapes 10 and 11 is void of any content whatsoever

from Stardock Forums

I have a clean install of windows per full factory reset on my windows 10 x64 pc and it is fully updated however, after installing deskscapes 11, the entire creator content sections of the app is completely empty. I even went as far as to uninstall 11 and install deskscapes 10; same issue. I have zero ability to browse, view or download any dreams or still from any content creator because the pages are all blank.

 

Nothing on my welcome, authors or categories pages whatsoever. I’ve initiated every one of the troubleshooting options I came across including a clean boot and nothing; I even left the app open overnight to see if there might be some dreams and stills, I can browse through the app when I got up and nope, still blank. The only thing that shows up are bing images and the backup dreams and stills I’ve downloaded in the past and saved for reuse and if I stumbled on any issues that I reinstalled back into the app, but there’s no option to find new dreams and stills via the app which is insane.

 

Please help. I am at a loss here and have been using deskscapes for years; I even went to my orders page here and download fresh apps for both 10 and 11 to no avail.

 

Unsure what’s going on here. I need help.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. This is known issue and it has been reported. Apparently, there is some server issue and Support has been inform about it and is currently looking into it. Hopefully it get resolved soon. Meanwhile, you should be able to browse for new Dreams directly from Wincustomize using this link: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream

We are making a few changes, hope to get this resolved shortly as we rollback a dns change related to this API.

This should now be fixed.
