Fences 6: Desktop Icons Jump Randomly After Right-Click (Even After Purge Reinstall)

Hi,

In the latest version of Fences 6, desktop icons outside of Fences jump around randomly whenever I right-click on the desktop. The issue does not occur when Fences is disabled. I have already tried uninstalling using the Purge option and reinstalling, but it didn't help. Are there any solutions to resolve this? Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. As a test, if you disable Fences, does the same issue appear? Also, your icons space look strangely small, do you use some specific application to change icons spaces?

Hi Ken, thanks for sharing this and for the video detail. This looks quite strange and have not heard of this. I'm wondering if you have other system enhancements installed that could be conflicting?

We'd like to gather more data, if you would be able to help put together a report.

(1) Please install the beta version below
(2) Enable "Advanced Debug Logging". You can find this in "About" -> "Troubleshooting".
(3) Reboot, so the change has effect
(4) Reproduce the issue as you've shown in the video
(5) Upload a report via "About" -> "Troubleshooting" -> "Create error package".

This will give us information to help us give this a deeper look.
