Feature Suggestion: Optional Override When StartAllBack Is Detected

Advanced override option for users intentionally running both products

I currently use both Start11 and StartAllBack.

My configuration:

• Start11 – Start menu customization (multi-monitor support)
• StartAllBack – Enhanced classic taskbar functionality

When Start11 detects StartAllBack, certain Start button options are disabled for compatibility reasons.

I understand why this safeguard exists.

However, for advanced users intentionally running both products for different purposes, it may be useful to provide an optional “Use at your own risk” override toggle that allows Start11 to manage Start button behaviour even when StartAllBack’s enhanced taskbar is enabled.

This would:

• Preserve the compatibility warning
• Avoid hard blocking advanced configurations
• Allow informed users to assume responsibility

This is not a request for official support of the combined configuration, but rather a suggestion for an advanced override option.

Thank you for considering.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I don't use any of the StartAllBack 'Start Menu' features; I simply disable it on my system.  But I do use a few of the taskbar options on that program.

But Start11, I do use all of the 'Start Menu' features.

I figured I'd post this in case it helps not only myself, but Start11 and StartAllBack users out there.

Thank you for getting back to me.

Have a great day.

The compatibility feature is needed because otherwise things either crash or simply do not work.

Two apps touching the same thing rarely works out well.

Ok... well... could Start11 actually check that I am not using StartAllBack's start menu and kindly replace all my Starrt Menus on all my monitors instead of just the prime monitor?

Is that a possibility?

From what I know, Start11 will be applied to all monitors, not just your primary monitor. Perhaps, there is conflict in your system. As long as StartAllBack is still installed, there always possibilities of it causing conflict.
