Identifiers always blocking Action Icons

Hello All,

Not sure my issue can be resolved here, but here goes. I use START11 so that I can place my taskbar along the top of my monitor screen using Windows 11.

I'm going to use the START Icon as an example. When I hover my mouse over the icon, the word start drops down and doesn't allow me to click on the start button. I have to repeat this process two three times before finally I get to click on the icon and open the start menu. Is there a work around or a setting that can prevent this. As a Windows user for years and years, I really don't need a drop down identifier telling me that I am clicking on the Start button. The same goes for the arrow for the hidden task bar icons. Three of four mouse clicks before I can beat the dropdown.

Thanks in Advance for tips and suggestions rendered,

Ed

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, this is what I get on my Windows 11 V25H2 (OS Build 26200.7623) system. Notice that the Start appear away from the actual Start button, clicking on it should not be an issue. I am on Start11 v2.6

Moving forward, to see if there is issue installing the app. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products.  Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear, we need more information.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version installed.
  3. Post screenshot or video showing us your issue.

Thank you,

Do you have enhanced taskbar turned on or off in Start11?

And is your taskbar set to auto hide?
