Start11-Menu does not open when clicking on start button, but does open when pressing windows key

I use Start11 V2.6 and when I click on the windows start button the original windows 11 menu pops up. When I press the windows button it correctly shows the Start11 menu.

I did set the start11 option on the control tab "clicking the start button opens" to "Start11 menu".

Note: I am using a 3 monitor setup and each monitor has a different resolution. My primary monitor is 4k and is scaled to 150%.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please make sure Start11 was properly install. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products.  Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still there need few more details.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 Enhance taskbar turn on or off?
  3. Do you have any other application running in the background, which also change something in your Start Menu, taskbar and/or Explorer. Application such as DisplayFusion, StartAllBack, ExplorerPatcher etc.
  4. As a test, if you just run One monitor, does the same issue appear?

I uninstalled and reinstalled Start11 like you told me to. With the same result.

  1. My Windows Version is Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.7628)
  2. Switching the taskbar enhancements off does not help
  3. No other background apps running (that I know off)

I also noticed that the Windows Start button image always stays the original image although I told him to uses a custom start button image (Start11).

Next, would like to suggest do a Sandbox test and see if the issue appear while in the Sandbox: Refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1416855562/Testing+Start+in+Sandbox. Try it and report back.

It works fine in the Sandbox. The start button shows the right image and it opens the Start11 menu on click. How would I find out which Programm conflicts with Start11 on my PC. I saw that there are a lot of tasks from Dell, Intel, Gigabyte and Logi tec drivers running in the background. I am also using your Fences desktop organizer.
