Does Groupy 2 run on ARM yet?

I just installed Groupy 2 from Object Desktop onto my Windows 11 ARM Surface Pro 9. It installed OK, but when I finished activating it, it showed a message saying I need to be a member of Object Desktop Labs and took me to the Object Desktop Insider page.

I am already an Object Desktop Insider user. Next it asked if I wanted to uninstall the product. When I clicked 'No', it closed the Groupy app. Every time I try to run it, it asks me to activate it, which I do successfully, but then it repeats the Object Desktop Labs message, the uninstall message, then closes.

What gives?

Did you download the installer from OD Insider?

Are you using your OD Product Key to activate?

It doesn't appear in the Object Desktop Insider segment of Object Desktop, so I installed it from the main Object Desktop segment. I activated it with my Stardock account.

I just downloaded the latest version of Object Desktop and it shows on the Insider part now. But when I installed it from there got the same message after I activated it with my most recent product key ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OK, I uninstalled Groupy using RevoUninstaller Pro to clear all remnants, rebooted, and ran the Groupy 2 direct download executable (Groupy2_2.3.1.0-j179-Setup).

I activated it with the Groupy 2 product key for that download, and after it activated successfully, I got the same result as before - a message about requiring me to be a member of Object Desktop Labs, which then opened the Object Desktop Insider information page. When I returned to the Groupy UI, it asked me if I wanted to uninstall it. When I clicked 'No', the UI went away.

The basic Groupy functionality seems to be working, but I have no access to the main UI to configure it. If I open the configuration from 'Settings' in a window menu, it always asks me if I want to uninstall it, and closes if I click 'No'.

I activated it with the Groupy 2 product key for that download, and after it activated successfully,

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Perhaps, try using your Object Desktop's product key instead. Try this, deactivate it and try reactivate using your Object Desktop product key. See if that make any different.

I followed your instructions, and it told me Group 2 was active on another PC (true), but that I could buy another copy. Object Desktop apps are supposed to allow 5 installs...

However, when I next rebooted, it loaded and worked without a problem - so far!

Thanks for your help!

I do feel the app management & activation needs some work & simplification - the combination of direct downloads, Object Desktop downloads and Object Desktop Insider downloads is confusing for the customer, and, it seems, the system itself...
