Fences 6.20 Partitions Displaying as Blank Despite Local Files

Hello, Why do Fences partitions often appear blank, even though the files are stored locally on the computer and have not been moved? I've tried reinstalling Fences 6.20 using the Purge option, but it didn't help. This issue is very frustrating. Is there a solution? Thank you.

Are they marked as hidden? 

Are they temp files? 

If when the Fences has focus, and you use F5 to refresh, do they appear?

If you create a new folder portal to the location, do they show?

Is the folder on a local or network drive?
