Start Menu issue

Just installed Start 11 on a new Thinkpad X1 (the previous one's SSD died after 3 months - go figure)
When I chose Windows 7 style for the start menu (would choose windows XP menu if that was an option), no programs show up in the box when you hit the windows button on the keyboard. 
However, if you choose Windows 10 style or 11 style or App style, or Pro style, or Launcher Style for the Start Menu Style all the programs show up.

What am I missing?
The old Thinkpad did not have this probem (i.e., when Windows 7 style was chosen, all programs popped up when the windows button was hit on the keyboard).

Anyone have a solution?  Using the lastest version of Start 11.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not really sure on your issue. Perhaps you have turn on this option.

If that is not it, post a screenshot showing what you see on your Start panel.
