Can't install bought version

I would like to know why do I need to pay for the most recent version of Object Desktop when I already paid for one that was working fine, I had to reinstall windows...
The original installer is available for download, but it will pop up a screen requesting to pay for the updated version.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues. If you were subscribed to Object Desktop Classic (prior to May 2023), the installation files should still work even after your subscription has expired, provided that you have saved those installer files. You can use them to install and activate the software, as long as it remains compatible with your version of Windows.

Very clear explanation, thanks Basj! It is clear that the old versions work if you save the installers, but to download the new ones you need to renew your subscription. Maybe it is worth adding a reminder for users to save the installers for the future - this would definitely help avoid confusion after reinstalling Windows.
