Multi-monitor Start button animation issue
Issue description
When clicking the Start button on the primary monitor of my two-monitor setup, the Start button on the secondary monitor will also animate, sometimes partially. The reverse usually does not occur--clicking the Start button on the secondary monitor will not often animate the Start button on the primary monitor.
How to recreate the issue seen
Case 1: The Start button animates slowly enough for me that it is possible to click it and open the menu on the primary monitor before the button has finished fading to the hover frame. In this case, the button on the secondary monitor will sometimes show a blended frame between the normal and hover frames. The blended frame on the secondary monitor is more likely to be seen by opening the Start menu on the secondary monitor, and then on the primary monitor.
Case 2: Even if the Start button on the secondary monitor does not get stuck between frames, upon clicking the button on the primary monitor to close the menu, the button on the secondary monitor will often briefly show the hover frame before fading back to the normal frame.
The button's normal frame on the secondary monitor can be restored in one of two ways:
- Click the button on the secondary monitor to open the menu, then click again to close it.
- Hover the mouse briefly over the button on the secondary monitor.
File and screenshot to demonstrate the issue
Here is a "debug" Start button that has the numbers 1, 2, and 3 in a unique corner in each frame.
