Feature Request - Taskbar Label Width Customization and Multi-line Text Display

Dear Stardock Team,

I hope this message finds you well. First, I want to express my appreciation for Start11 - it has significantly improved my Windows experience, and I'm grateful for the continuous development efforts.

I'm writing to request a feature that would greatly enhance the usability of the taskbar for many users like myself. Currently, I find myself frequently struggling with taskbar button labels that are either too wide (taking up excessive space) or get truncated with "..." when displaying longer application names.

Feature Request:

  1. Adjustable taskbar label width - The ability to manually set or reduce the maximum width of taskbar button text labels
  2. Two-line text display option - Support for displaying longer application names across two lines within the taskbar button, rather than truncating them

Why this matters: I work with multiple applications simultaneously, often with similar names or long titles. The current single-line limitation forces me to hover over buttons to see full names, which significantly slows down my workflow. Being able to see complete application names at a glance - even if displayed in two lines - would be a tremendous productivity boost.

I understand this might require significant UI work, but this feature would make a real difference in daily usability, especially for users managing many open windows. I've seen similar requests in the community, so I believe there's genuine demand for this functionality.

Would it be possible to consider adding these customization options in a future update? I'd be happy to provide additional feedback or testing if needed.

Thank you so much for considering this request, and for all the excellent work you do!

Best regards,

FreeFlower
