Creating a new Folder Portal

My use case involves the quick creation of a Folder Portal for a folder that contains about 20-50 subfolders, each with about 100-300 pdf files. I need the Folder Portal to display everything at both levels in LIST VIEW. However, the default seems to be the display of everything in medium icon view.

So I'm required to manually set LIST VIEW for the 20 subfolders, and then for the contents of each of them. This is a substantial nuisance! Is there any way to config Fences to use LIST VIEW (or some other view that I select) as the default view for everything in a newly-created Folder Portal?
