Icon Packager

Question about operation

Hello, Good evening to all!

Excuse me, i speak very bad English.

There you go, tonight I would like to know if the Icon Packager software was working under Win11 25h2?
I did find the 30-day trial version on the Stardock site, but I don’t see it in the catalog.

I installed it at home, but no way to launch it, this without any warning message from Microsoft security, so I would like to have confirmation that it works well (or not) on this version of Windows.

Thank you in advance to who will answer me.

Hello,
If you refer to Icon Packager product page https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/. Right down at the bottom of that page, it show that Windows 11 is not listed there. Hense, it is not officially Supported on Windows 11.

However, I have tried download, installed and apply an icon package on my Windows 11 25H2 OS Build 26200.7462. And, look like it is working as expected. Thre are some Icons on Windows 11 can't be changed by Icon packager. Please refer to my screenshot below.

For how to Start up Icon packager, you could use your Start panel-> search for Icon Packager and Start it from there. And, if you wish you could create desktop shortcut for it. For easy access later.

Thank you,

Hello Basj,

Yes, I know that officially, IconPackager is not compatible with Windaube 11, but as many manage to make it work without problem... I opted for the purchase.
No, what you propose to me as a solution did not work, I had already tried to launch the software in every possible way.
In any case, I opted to uninstall and reinstall, and finally, the software agreed to open.
This software opening problem is proper to Windaube, and not to Stardock. This problem is listed on the Microsoft forums, without moreover giving more solutions.

In short, my problem with IconPackager is quite different today. It is already well listed on the Stardock forums, I will try to find a solution. It may also be that I find teaching in the reading of the tutorial that I am currently translating into French.

The problem being, it is about the "Live Folders" that are not displayed as they should be. I will make a new specific post for this.

In french:

Bonjour Basj,
