Upgrading from Start11 v1 to v2?

I'm about to upgrade from v1 to v2 (not installed the new one yet though). Will all the settings, shortcuts, tiles, custom icons etc transfer over to the new version seamlessly? I'd rather not have to start all over again with all that... I have done a Regedit backup of the settings from the current v1 version, but will that work with v2...?

You should be okay installing ver. 2 over ver. 1 and your settings should be maintained. Worse case, you would have to rebuild your start menu, but I don't believe using a registry backup from version 1 will work. Version 2 has added quite few new keys/strings that won't be included in your backup of ver. 1.
