Screenshots - ???

i luv this site an it contains some great skins icons walls an everything u need but almost everyone here seems 2 neglect the screenshot section which i feel is one of the most important sections on any custo site as u can show off ur best desktop - inspire others an let others see the capibilities of windows customisation i luv 2 see a greater intrest in the section so pls start sumbiting an reviewing screenie more

Personally I haven't seen the point in viewing that section. I suppose its possible it might inspire me to use something I might not otherwise, however I pretty much know what I'm looking for anyway.
Another reason I don't frequent it is I am on dialup. It sucks as it is waiting for images of skins I might use, but to wait for simply a screenshot isn't worth it to me. I even usually avoid the Screenshot thread that is created each month. I am interested in that at least, but it takes awhile to load.

With the beginning of skinning and GUI customizing the screenshot was the method to show people what was in progress....for those who may not have had the proggy...or the skin...or both.

Yes, it was/is important as a section...
