December 2025 Desktop Screenshots

The end of 2025 fast approaches...at warp speed! Shields up for 2026!

Entering Delta Quadrant WB by 2of3. Winstep Docks are Galaxus7 ported by Giz...both WB and Docks recolored. Added LCARS insets from walls on the web, the larger wall altered by me to add a shields glow, and on the LCARS smaller composited walls to have a shields glow, as well.

All great shots, guys!

Life happens, so I haven't been here a lot the last few days, but home for a short time this evening and put this together. Vampothikas E Motion recolored and a wall by AI & me. I'll upload it at some point when I have the time.

Thanks, Doc & Chuck for your encouragement for my health issues. I'm having a pretty bad problem with mobility right now, and it's happened pretty fast. I could walk with a cane and move around alright a few months ago, then I started to have all these falls. The last fall left me with two fractured ribs on the left and right side. That's why I haven't been here very much, or posted many screenshots over the last month. But I'm slowly starting to heal, so hopefully I regain some or most of my health one day.

I fell earlier this year. I was taking out trash at a school I do janitorial work at. This was a new customer and I had never been there before. Right before you get to where you throw the trash in those big garbage bins there's a sharp incline. It was night. I was lucky in that I realized what was happening and rolled when I hit the pavement. No damage done at all. I wasn't aware of the incline. I have a fear of falling. My mother broke her hip and my father broke his hip years ago. They are both passed now.

Falling is scary and potentially fatal for all older adults. At least homes can be checked for dangers.

Chuck, thank goodness your fall did no serious damage worse than scaring you. 👍

I know what you are talking about Chuck, I have fallen 4 times in the last 5 years, 3 times outdoors and one time indoors, tore up my knees a bit. My son got tired of hearing about it and brought me a walker several months ago and it has helped. No fun falling! :-(

No, falling is definitely not fun! I think a walker should be my next step. Canes do nothing to prevent falling. Every fall I've had, the cane was in my hand, hanging impotently! I feel like someone dropped an additional 25 years onto my current 61, and gave me all the problems of geriatrics, all at once. Maybe I pissed off the wrong god! ^_^

Sorry to here that Reaper, at only 61 I would think you would not get problems like that, I am 75! :(

Hang in there Reaper! I'm 73. I keep very active as I still have a part time job. The job is janitorial. I can also use the money. Before I started working again I walked a lot.

Well...the best medicine is laughter, so...SimplexDesign's Aero for 7, Winstep dock Naked Noir (vStyler) ported by Giz, at 50% opacity. Wall? Doc's Home for Old Skinners using Ps and nano-banana. Hope you get a chuckle, fellow WCers. I would have shopped Tom's and my faces in there, but...vanity prevents me.  ;)
