Start11: Click on taskbar icons sometimes does nothing

Start11 Version 2.56 (Licensed)

New or existing: New since the upgrade from 2.55 to 2.56

How to reproduce: Unknown, issue seems to pop up at random

Observation:

Sometimes when I click any icon on the taskbar, nothing happens. This behaviour can easily last half an hour, but equally only a couple of minutes. During this weird behaviour switching to already open appliciations with ALT+TAB works. Opening new applications through the start button also works. It's only the application shortcuts on the taskbar that don't work. And then, suddenly, everything works fine again. I've never had this issue with the previous version. Apart from this particular isse, Start11 seems to work as expected. If important: I access this server through RDP.

I have tried a fresh installation, but to no avail. A clean boot is not an option, as it's not possible over RDP (as far as I know) and I don't have direct access to this server.

Any ideas?

Perhaps, you can ask your IT guy to update it since Start11v2.56 work better with latest Windows 11 enhancement.

Apparently that's not gonna happen any time soon because there are Windows issues with the main software on that server.
Can I downgrade to 2.55?

Just to be sure, it is not just simple installation issue, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products.  Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.
