Start menu with 16x16 icons?

Seems that some programs (maybe 32bits?) Start11 shows the smalest reso, like 16x16, but when I return to windows menu.. they are bigger (32x32 I think)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more:

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get those numbers.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. Do you see the same issue if you use those other Start11 style, such as Windows App style or Windows Pro style?

I am using VMWare with Windows 10 Pro
Version 22H2 (Operating System Build 19045.6332)
Start11 2.53

The issue occurs with all menu styles except Windows 7 and Modern.

V2.55 has some tweaks for these types of apps.

worked for the 16x16 icons, but now the normal icons are giant and the small ones still have a gray frame around it

Some application, for example Delphi 7, only come with 32x32 pixel, that is why you see some icons only appear small. 

While FileZilla, for example has this.

So why its not showing 32x32 instead of 16x16?
Also in windows 11 it works well

From you screenshot it does look like 32x32. I looked at it in Windows 11 Start11 on Windows 10 style. It still on 32x32 icon, it just get stretch out bigger in Windows 11 system.
