Start11: Task bar blank

Taskbar blank after Windows Update (24H2 Build 26100.6584)

I had a lot of icons pinned to the taskbar, after the recent Window Update all icons disppeared except for the apps who are in Autostart. It's the 2nd time that it happened, same happened on another PC of mine and I had to recreate the icons.

I now download Start11 to reinstall it - the download speed for all of the Stardock products is incredibly slow (no, I tested from different locations and network speed is fine, it's only for Stardock products)

Taskbar: On my other PC it needs a long time until the icons are rendered, sometimes the taskbar is totally blank after a restart, and they appear again when I restrat again. All in all it's a very buggy experience

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still there, we will need more information.

  1. Start11 full version number installed.
  2. Have you tried using Start11 backup and restore setting before?

Hello I followed the steps, same behaviour

1. Version 2.53

2. Yes I did, problem persisted

Since I'm at work now and needed my taskbar, I recreated the taskbar icons again after reinstalling - I also noticed then that all my folder icons in Start Menu (Win10 setting) disappeared, only the app icons were still there. The order of the groups in Start Menu was also mixed up

Just to be clear, after you have recreate all the taskbar apps pinned, you did do the save setting backup. And, when the issue appear, you use the restore saved setting, selected the file you saved your setting, applied it and the taskbar apps still don't reappear?

Taskbar pins are OS level.  If they have vanished then something outside of Start11 has unpinned them.

We merely show what has been pinned, we do not maintain the pins themselves.
