Problem with PureRef program

Groupy can no detect PureRef as a process or class or even by partial name

Hi everyone, I hope you’re doing well.

I’ve been using Groupy for quite a while, but I’ve always had an issue with it not recognizing another program I regularly use: PureRef.
PureRef is an infinite canvas for storing reference photos, but Groupy simply doesn’t detect it at all—as if the software doesn’t exist. I’ve tried several things to solve this, such as creating custom groups, but Groupy still doesn’t recognize PureRef as a process, class, or even by partial name.

Here are my details:
Windows 11
Groupy 2.2
PureRef 2.0.3

To clarify, this issue has been there since the very first time I used both programs (even in windows 10 and Groupy 1 and PureRef 1). I didn’t bother much at first, but now I really need a solution, since I often have multiple PureRef instances open and would love to organize them with Groupy. I understand this might be related to the way PureRef handles its windows differently compared to standard applications, but I’d really appreciate any advice or workarounds to make this integration possible.

Thanks in advance!
Best regards,

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do know that Groupy don't work with any application that don't have a titlebar or there is a titlebar but it is not Standard Windows titlebar. I did read/view a bit on PureRef, and it look that it don't have any titlebar at all. This is, most probably, why PureRef don't work with Groupy.

Thank you,
