Start11 ------- What us this blank space near the top of the task bar?

Hello ...

Windows 11 --  Start11 --  Task bar on the left side of the screen.

I have this space on the task bar.

How do I get rid of it and move the tasks toward the top?

I just can't seem to find how.

Thanks for listening.

You appear to have "Left start button and centered aligned taskbar buttons" selected. Change this to "Left aligned."

Thanks for getting back with me.

I have left aligned selected.

Is there something else to check?

Thanks

Ugh ...

Brain freeze I guess.

I can't seem to figure out where to find the enhanced taskbar settings.

Thanks for sticking with me to figure this out.

Start11 is overwhelming with all the settings.

I'll get it.

Thanks

Bob

It is a little confusing since most of the settings are similar to the Windows settings, but "Configure enhanced taskbar..." is a button. It kind of hides from you.

There is a bit of a learning curve with Start11v2, but it is very powerful.

I'm using the Windows 10 style with 224 shortcuts and 23 tabs. It's my go to for all my commonly accessed apps, folders, files, and URL's.

Wow!  That is a lot for me to digest.

I've downloaded the manual and will have to do some reading.

Going to start my learning curve!

We can end this thread or put it on pause.

I need to find that button!

Thanks

Bob

Yay!  I found it.

Thanks for helping me out.

I want to study your graphic of Win10 task bar with shortcuts and tabs.

There must be a section on shortcuts.

Back to the manual and study!

Thanks again.
