Hello everyone.

There's a brilliant skin called Fett, by the excellent creator MikeB314.

Even though it was originally created in the Windows XP/Vista era, it works as well as possible today.

However, I saw in this YouTube Video that this skin appears briefly, as if on an official Stardock banner, which makes me think it was updated for WinVista/7 at some point. Watching the video, it seems this skin was updated and became part of the standard installation at the time.

If this actually happened, it would be perfectly functional for me if I had the chance to use it this way. I'd like to ask if this updated version of the screenshot (WinVista/Win7) actually exists and if anyone has it to share.

To my knowledge, this skin was never updated to work with Windows versions after XP, although as you mentioned, it still looks pretty decent on Vista/7/8/10&11. The creator stopped skinning around 2012, I think, so an official update to it is unlikely to happen.

Well, when I saw this old video showing the Stardock Banner with the Fett theme, I figured Team Stardock had somehow updated this theme with navigation menus. I wouldn't be surprised by that.

 

I made a small modification to this theme to bring it closer to my vision of this skin, as shown in the screenshot. Can this type of "mod" be demonstrated here?
