Star11 V2 simply did not work

Upgrade from v1 removes S11 funcionality

I just upgraded from Start11 V1 to V2 and now I have build standard windows ll start menu and taskbar. Rebooting and restarting explorer does not help. I have to revert to V1 and right of the upgrade price.

After uninstalling and reinstalling a couple of times it appears to be working now.

It can sometimes be tricky installing version 2 over version 1. There's a lot that can go wrong in the Registry if things don't go as expected. It's important when attempting this method to restart your computer prior to the install, and then rebooting immediately following the install completion.

Glad you got it working. Start11v2 has many more options. There is a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to the Configuration app, but it's worth the time to explore and try new things.
