WinCustomize - Changes in subscriber requirements??

I've been a licensed user of WB for over 25 years now... I currently am using WB on two computers, one Win10, one Win11...

I just attempted to download a theme off the WinCustomize site, and got the following error message:

Download Unsuccessful
Reasons:
You are currently at your download limit. (139 / 30)

What is going on here??

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Perhaps it is an account issue. Please raise support ticket using the link below, use the "Ask a Question" option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.

We use our forums for support so as to help the most people for the longest period of time. If we work tickets for support issues, it helps just one person and just that one time. The forums are staffed with support personnel, developers, and seasoned users of our products. You will be well served there.

In other words, don't create a ticket for your problem, just post on the forum... yes, *this* forum...

So permit me to repeat my original request...

Actually, I cannot help if its an account issue. Need to know your ticket number, so I can forward that ticket number to Support for their help.

Well... support already *has* my ticket number (SSN-91973), because they were responding to that ticket when they told me that they couldn't provide support to me...

Yes, but, for me to report back, I need your ticket number to forward to them to refer back to it.

Well, I now have been informed about what is going on here...

Apparently WinCustomize has changed its rules, and even if you have purchased Stardock products, you have to buy an annual subscription to WinCustomize, in order to have unlimited download priviledges; otherwise, you only get 30 free downloads (over what period??  one year?) ...

Fortunately, I am rarely going to have much to download in the future, since the Master Themer program has been terminated...

Hey Derell,

I dont believe anything has changed with this and if something did change, it was accidental as no policies have been updated for WC in several years.

yet I've never before had any limit on my downloads of Windowblinds skins...
That very error message suggest something has changed:

         You are currently at your download limit. (139 / 30)

i.e., I have downloaded 139 out of my limit of 30 downloads...
BTW, that 139 downloads is roughly what I've downloaded over the past 10 years or so!!

It is all very strange...
