Groupy 2, Windows 11 and DOpus

Won't Launch but does Group?

Hi all - I've searched these forums for DOpus but the results seem a few years ago, so I'm going to assume it may just be me...?

I have a new Computer running the latest Windows 11 build and the latest Directory Opus build. I have used Groupy for a good few years, but have upgraded to Groupy 2. When I run programs (e.g. Outlook, OneNote etc) and Directory Opus, Groupy 2 allows me to group them together and then save the group. Trouble is, when I then run the Groupy file, I can get Outlook and OneNote to launch and Group, but DOpus doesn't launch. If I launch it seperately it aligns itself with the other two files, but doesn't group unless I prompt it to do so again.

I've tried different programs such as Powerpoint or Firefox to group together with DOpus, but all to no avail. I have also checked that DOpus and Groupy 2 are both in the Startup folder for Windows, which both are, but I still can't get Groupy 2 to launch DOpus. Can anyone offer some guidance please?

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I downloaded Directory Opus and tested it, but I don't see the issue on my system. Tested with Notepad++, Word and Firefox on my Windows 10 system. Directory Opus opened in the group when I open the saved Groupy file.

This is my Saved Groupy file for this one.

Paste your saved groupy file here. Also, you on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full OS Build number. Use Winver.exe to get these number.

Hi Basj, thank you so much for the reply, and you've already helped me fix the problem!

I had a look at my file, which was showing DOpus like yours, but one line was different for some reason... where your text states "CommandLine="/ignoresetup autolister=layout",  for some reason mine was something like "CommandLine="/NOAUTOLISTER=SETUP" (something like that - alas I didn't take a note!)

Once I changed it to the text in your, it worked perfectly!

Thanks again Basj, much appreciated.
