An error occurred

The first image above shows my settings when the window is not maximized. However, when I move the mouse over the taskbar of an open application, the taskbar becomes non-transparent again. I hope this issue can be improved as soon as possible.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

If the issue still appear need more information on your system.

  1. Start11 full version number.
  2. What application show up (the small tab appear on the left) when you move your mouse?
  3. What application is running to animate your wallpaper?
  4. Do you have any other application running which also control how your taskbar work?

The problem still persists after the update:

  1. The version information is as follows

  1. The small tab that appears on the left is QQ Music;
  2. I use Wallpaper Engine from Steam to run my live wallpapers;
  3. I have used TranslucentTB to control the taskbar before, but even after closing TranslucentTB, the taskbar remains in an abnormal state.

I hope the company can resolve this issue as soon as possible.

I believe this is not Start11 issue, its more like compatibility issue with other application that interfere with Start11. Know that even after you close/disable an application, it still running in the background. As a test, first, please uninstall TranslucentTB, reboot system. retest it and report back.

I just uninstalled TranslucentTB and restarted my computer, but the same problem still persists. I hope you can help me figure out the reason. Thank you!

Just now, I uninstalled QQ Music, restarted the computer, and closed the wallpaper software, but the problem still remains o(╥﹏╥)o. I tried adjusting the setting to make the taskbar transparent when a window is maximized, and then the problem vanished. I think it should be an error in recognizing whether a window is maximized. Once the window shown in Figure 2 appears, this problem occurs. (I’ve tried it on other computers, and the same issue arises.)

Next try this: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1334935592/Start11+Clean+Boot. See if the issue appear without any other 3rd party application running. Also with a fresh Admin account. Do follow the steps with care. Try it and report back.
