Complains - but no clue

If I create a new Fence and try to add a link that is already present on another Fence it tells me that I already have that link, but gives me no clue as to where it might be. Furthermore, I might want to have the link in more than one Fence.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You will need to understand how Fences work. Fences organize your desktop icons/shortcuts/documents etc, into Fences. So to have one shortcut to appear in multiple Fences, you will need to create that same shortcut multiple time with different name.

When you duplicate any file in Explorer, Windows automatically adds a (1), (2), etc. to the end of the file name. You could use this simple naming strategy for the shortcuts which you want to duplicate in your Fences.
