Problems with LaunchBar Commander

LaunchBar Commander on right side extends to full height

Windows 11 24H2 26100.4652, Start11 2.53.
I've always used LaunchBar Commander to have a toolbar of buttons on the right (image 1).

After updating Start11 to version 2.53, the Launchbar expands to the entire right side (image 2).

I uninstalled Start11 and reinstalled it: the problem occurs when I enable "Let Start11 improve the taskbar" in the App Bar.
Now I leave the option disabled, but before the latest update, I used this option and the rounded edges of the taskbar, and LaunchBar worked fine.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Is there a version of "LaunchBar Commander" that's officially compatible with Windows 11? If there is, please post its link here. All I can find is a version that's compatible with Windows 10. Which last update in Sept 2020.

Thank you,

Yes, that's correct, that's the latest version of LaunchBar Commander.

Up until now, there have been no problems with Windows 11 and Start 11.

Maybe I'll have to look for a replacement for LaunchBar.

Thanks

Maybe I'll have to look for a replacement for LaunchBar.

Maybe the folks at LaunchBar can help you fix the problem or get you an older nonproblematic version?

Another idea might be to use Nexus dock (free or paid) from winstep.net or ObjectDock3 from Stardock since that launch bar is basically a dock with shortcuts to .exe files.

It looks like LaunchBar Commander hasn't been updated since 2020.

I liked it because every button can open a submenu.

I'll try Nexus.

Thanks
