ObjectDock Always Creates Tabbed Docks on Wrong Monitors

Shortcut Icons Keep Reverting back to the Default

How can I submit a Bug Ticket to Stardock Support directly?  I have submitted topics here before but I haven't received even one reply.

When I login, ObjectDock does create my three Locked Tabbed Docks, but it always creates them on the wrong monitor. (3 monitors.)

I have to manually unlock them, increase their sizes so I can drag them, drag them to the correct monitor, changed their sizes back, and re-lock them.

Also, I keep having to manually apply ICONS to several of the bookmarks in my docks.  I think this may be only for Microsoft Store apps, but I am not 100% sure.  Regardless, how can I prevent the icons from reverting back to the ObjectDock default?

This has been going on since I first bought ObjectDock months ago.

Is this complete lack of a response on a bug report typical for this company?

Thanks

My mistake.  I did receive a reply to my earlier post.  But it didn't address the issue.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more details on your system.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. ObjectDock version installed.
  3. If you use ObjectDock setting to set the monitor of your choice, instead of dragging it, does it help with your issue. Refer to screenshot below.

Thank you,

Windows 11 24H2

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.26100.4652]

According to Windows, my monitors are identified like this:    [2]      [3](main display)      [1]

All thee ObjectDocks are set to     Edge: Top edge of Screen  -  Change monitor: Primary Monitor

The other two monitors are listed as 2 and 3.  "Primary Monitor" has no number,

Notice the discrepancy with the monitors numbers.

ObjectDock makes it look like the Primary Monitor is 1, since the others are 2 and 3!!!

Even though I have selected "Primary Monitor", it's placing the Tabbed Docks on what Windows says is Monitor 1.  Windows shows that Monitor 3 is the Main Display, not Monitor 1.

Hi WoofGrrrr.  Thanks for posting.

When I login, ObjectDock does create my three Locked Tabbed Docks, but it always creates them on the wrong monitor. (3 monitors.)

I seem to have reproduced the issue, using four Top Tabbed Docks across just two monitors.  We now have this logged for review.

Internal Ref: ODNT-10153

Also of note: For me, I noticed a difference depending on which monitor I immediately used actively after signing in (such as by positioning the mouse and clicking around).  If I immediately started using my Secondary monitor first, I ended up with a jumble of the docks that were meant for my Primary to move there, regardless of which "Change monitor" number was set for them.  However, if I made sure to click around on the Primary monitor first, this didn't happen.  It may be useful for us to know if this matches with your experience.
