The windows 7/vista styled transparency titlebar themes aren't working for me after updating to windows 11 24h2 26100.4652

Not completely sure if theres a way to fix it or if im supposed to wait for a windowblinds update since the last update was recent. Does anyone else have this issue on the same build or is this just happening to me? The themes technically work but its just a color behind it instead of the aero glass theme

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few things:

  1. Your current installed Windowblinds full version number.
  2. Which WB theme/style you're using?
  3. Screenshots of your issue.

As reference this is what I get on my system. I am on WB v11.06.

Hello! Yes I have the full version of windowblinds through steam, for some reason all the aero themes, including the diamond one that came with this application don't seem to work and look like this or another non transparent color depending on the theme. My application is updated to 11.06 as well. But I noticed today it does seems to show transparency only when I click and drag a window, but it flickers while moving it around and goes back to how this looks when I'm not holding the left mouse button.

First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

It ended up working for a little bit until I changed it to another theme. I retried it again and now the transparency doesn't work at all

Try this see if Windows Transparency effects was turn off. If it was off, turn it on. Refer to my short gif below.

The transparency has been enabled, not sure how this happened I did have an issue with my gpu drivers and had to reinstall them, but this also happened right after updating my windows from 23h2 to 24h2

If you have a Nvidia GPU then it has been known for Nvidia to break blur in the OS with driver updates.

I would try rolling back the drivers.

I rolled back my drivers to the previous one I used and still having the same issue sadly. Is it likely that the windows update to  26100.4652 broke it? Since i'm not sure what else could be causing the issue.

Would like to suggest in doing the Clean boot and see if there is issue with your admin account or if there is conflict with other running application. Refer here: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1346830395/WindowBlinds+Clean+Boot. Do know that Clean boot need to be done with care, do follow the steps carefully. Try it and report back.

Would like to suggest system check, such as "sfc /scannow" and "DISM"
