Activate Windowblinds 7

Hi all.

 

I have an old PC that i have set up with Windows 7 64bit in order to play some of my old games as a little piece of nostalgia. I have installed Windowblinds 7.04 on it but there is no way i can see to activate it. i have been an Object Desktop subscriber for years (Since 2006 and still current to this day) and i really want to have use of the software i paid for . I cant install WB 11 or 10 on this PC as its not compatible with Windows 7.

 

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't have Windowblinds 7 to confirm but I do have Windowblinds 10 that is running on my Windows 7 system. Perhaps you can try Windowblinds 10.

well it kinda works. the task bar and start menu change to the windows classic theme while evrything else takes om  the WB Theme. any other suggestions? :grin:  :grin:

Does the issue appear on any theme? Including theme that come with WB, such as Diamond, Acrylic 7 etc?

yep, every theme i try to apply does the same..even going back to the default windows theme using WB results in the same behavior. Uninstalling, rebooting and reapplying the windows 7 default from the personalize section works, but only after uninstalling Windowblinds itself. Oh well. No big deal I'll just stick to standard windows 7. I have WB 11 on my modern laptop and it works perfectly.

That is strange, as you see on my screenshot below. WB10 work on Win 7 without issue for me.
