Start11 Doesn't Respect Windows Multitasking Settings

Enhanced Taskbar doesn't show icons for open windows on other virtual desktops

Hi there,

I'm currently evaluating Start11, but there's an issue that's a deal-breaker for me. I make extensive use of Windows' built-in virtual desktops feature, and I prefer to have all open windows visible on the taskbar, rather than the Windows default of only showing the ones that are open on the current virtual desktop. In Windows 11, this is user-configurable.

When the S11 Enhanced Taskbar is enabled, this setting is not respected, as only the windows open on the current virtual desktop are shown, which makes the Enhanced Taskbar feature unusable for me with my workflow.

This issue was previously reported by other people in 2023 and 2024 respectively, and there was an internal ticket raised for the issue, but the bug remains. Is the bug still going to be addressed?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe, Support mentioned it was logged for Internal review: ODNT-9364. as you saw on that Steam thread you linked above. So far, there is no new development on it yet.
