Start11 ceases to work after Menu Registry add

so I had Start11 running, and had the nice menu I expected.  Then I added the registry change found here:
https://www.howtogeek.com/759449/how-to-get-full-context-menus-in-windows-11s-file-explorer/

It adds these two registry entries, and now start 11 does not load like Windows 10. I run Start 11 and pick any of the other options and it still looks like Windows 11.  Looking for help to fix both the Start Menu AND maintain the right mouse click reference menu.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, from what I know, if you changed something from default Windows configuration, something strange/side effect could happen. I am not clear on why, however, I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.

Thank you,

Thank you will do....does seem odd that the registry entries aren't related but I get how they can interfere. No way of knowing neccessarily which registry entries interact with others....

Are you sure you didn't perhaps also do something else as having tested that here it is having no impact on Start11 which is what I would have expected as Start11 has no interaction with those keys.

If it isn't showing the menu then something is stopping Start11 from starting, is the Stardock Start11 service still enabled?

just bumping to see if anyone else has noticed this behaviour

Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Completely uninstalled - didn't even save settings.  Used Revo to clear out semblance of the program at all. Rebooted. Reinstalled. After reinstall, it worked until it said it needed to reboot and now it's back to doing nothing.

It sounds like something is stopping the service starting.

What Start11 processes are running in taskmanager under the details tab?
