Fences Folder Headers Resize Randomly

I've been using Fences for years.  Recently, the Fences folder headers have been resizing.  Not all of them, but some of them randomly shrink.  Restarting Windows Explorer fixes the issue, but it comes back.  I decided to upgrade to the newest version, and it seemed to help for a while.  When I booted my pc, the folders would randomly resize, but after a few moments the issue would fix itself.  Now they're resizing and staying.  I'm not sure how to fix it and I find it quite annoying.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know few things.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences full version number installed.
  3. Post some screenshots or video showing the issue.

Thank you,

Windows 11 Pro, 10.0.26100, Build 26100.  Fences version 6.0.  Top left is the only fence that retained the size I want.

Try this, when the changes happen, do the "Reset to default" on all groups. This should make all your Fences personalization back to default. Do you normal changes as needed. Safe a new backup when you done. Give it a specific name. Once that is done see if the issue reappear.

Thank you,

Hi, followup question. What is the system DPI, and how many monitors? Do any monitors have a different DPI? Does this generally happen when waking the monitor from sleep etc?

For the resized ones, does moving the Fence group by even say a single pixel resolve the issue?

Thanks for the help
