After 7 months, today the Deskscope software does not run and gives error 205. Please help and fix it as soon as possible. Thanks.

I bought the software from Steam 7 months ago and it was working fine until yesterday, which is 7 months ago, but since today it gives error 205. My system has not been replaced.

I created an account on your site, Stardock, today. Before that, I opened the software with Steam and there was no problem, please follow up. Thanks

I bought the Stardock Deskscapes software from Steam.

1-Will this software be active for me forever?

2-If not, how many years is it valid for?

3- Can I use the software after its validity expires? And what will be the conditions for using it?

Hello again,

If you bought Deskscapes recently, you should have license key for Deskscapes 11. That key should work for Deskscapes 11 and any upgrade that under Deskscapes v11.XX. There is no time limit for the activation key. When there is a major update on Windows, for example, Windows 12, and Deskscapes 12 released. The activation key will not work for Deskscapes 12.

There is no different in function, only different is for Steam purchase your activation need to be done via Steam.
