How does Object Desktop activations work?

I think I've misunderstood something.

When I look at OD on the website for purchase, it says "up to 5 active installs."  Does that mean that I can install OD on up to 5 PCs and 1 or more of the programs in OD on each one or does it mean that up 5 of the OD products can be installed (activated)?

I'm asking as I interpreted it as the former, but when I look at my activations it says 7 out of 5 and lists 7 of the programs included in OD.

Hello,
You can install and activate 5 system for each software. For example, if you subscription is currently active, you can install and activate Fences 6 on 5 systems. DeskScapes on 5 systems etc etc. Hope that clarify things for you.

And there is a typo in that "XX current activations out of 5 total". Just know that, the XX is your current total activation count.

Thanks for clarifying so by me its show 4 activation out of total of 5 but its 4 programs on 1 system information guess you install 5x12 application its about 60

Hi as a customer of an active subscription of Object Desktop can we install only the apps needed such Start11, WindowsBlinds and Objectdock in order to keep my windows install clean and not install the Object desktop manager ?

also how do activate the individual apps with the same key ?

How do we have access to the beta and new releases before they are officially public as we see them on Object desktop manager ?

Yes you can download individual apps from your account Download page. https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

You will use your the same Object Desktop Key to activate all the apps you download.

Beta version will also be available from your account Download page.
