I can't get windowblinds to work on my pc. It used to work, but now it says it is not installed correctly on my pc.  I have ESET installed and have tried your support workaround.  I got to step 10 and there was no way activate the "add" function (note that the 3 dots that the arrow points to are not there).  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail.  I noticed that both windowblinds and windowblinds 11 are showing and I can only uninstall windowblinds 11. Please help me as this was my favorite part of stardock besides deskscapes.

Try "white listing" Windowblinds in ESET. Then uninstall Windowblinds, and reboot. Re-download it, install it  and reboot immediately and see if that doesn't solve your problem.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Not sure if ESET has changed something in it configuration setup. Please review this video and try to follow it.

Thank you.

Neither of these worked for me.  The video in reply 2 was the workaround I described in my post that didn't work.  I have ESET Smart Security Premium.  I don't know if that matters, but the paths to certain functions are different.  Also, I have the same 2 programs installed on a second computer and have no issues with WindowBlinds.

Possibly there is another issue, not just ESET. First, please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I just test it again on my system and it work for me. I downloaded and installed ESET Internet Security. The steps should be almost the same as my previous video I posted above. However, I make a new one with the current ESET Security. Refer to my video below. Also, remember to logoff and login again or reboot the system after the rule is completed.

At timecode 1:17 in your video, you highlight 3 dots to allow you to add a "source application" entry.  In my ESET, that window does not have the 3 dots and does not allow me to click on anything in the window to search for an application.  This is the same issue I had in the original workaround, as well as in your first video.

Maybe that's something you need to check out with ESET.

Yes, or perhaps you could record a video showing us your steps so we can see if there are some steps not done properly.

Also, please check if you're also using this same ESET version.

Thank you,

The ESET version you are using is not the same as the one I am using.  I have ESET Smart Security Premium.  That may be why I am not seeing the same screens you are.  Additionally, I'm unsure how to record a video of my steps.

Perhaps there is a way to "whitelist" WindowBlinds in Eset Smart Security Premium, but I don't know how.

Try asking in ESET's forums or maybe there's a version specific 'how to' video on youtube?
