Microsoft Edge can't read and write to its data directory

I just installed DesktopGPT and when it launched it gave me an error "Microsoft Edge can't read and write to it's data directory: Path of directory.
Does DesktopGPT require that my account be a local admin? That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this.
