Saved games crash on load

I've noticed that after the last two updates my saved games will not load. I can start a new game, save, and load with no issue, it appears to be only the games saved prior to updates that cannot load. This is the error code I am getting:

Saved games after an update won't load. It says that right in the patch notes. There is a way to "go back to the previous version" and then you can finish saved games. Check the patch notes for more information but expect that saved games after an update won't load.
