Same User BUT New Password

I had to redo my Password to login. My User Name stayed the same.

I was a paid member prior to the crash.

Will I receive credit for my paid account (ie: unlimited downloads) once the system is fully back online?

Best if you go to this link:

https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/14

Choose "Ask a question" and describe your problem.

Supply all the documentation you can.

Make note of your ticket number and don't resubmit as it will kick to the back of the queue.

If you've made email from stardock "spam", redefine or "whitelist" Stardock.

In my case, I cleared out my browser cache, but I could not login in with my old user name  and password. I wanted to respond earlier, but couldn't post again on the forum because this is a new account. Was surprised that I can post now, but be blocked again temporarily? Will I be able to get back to my old account again? And when can I get my avatar back again?

I understand that clearing cookies and data didn't help, 3java3. Did you restart your computer after doing that? If not, clear cookies and data again and restart.

I notice your 3java3z account has a different email associated with it than the 3java3 account. Could be the two accounts need to be united under the email associated with the 3java3 account.

I've contacted Support for you.

Your nickname wasn't on the list of accounts needing recovery, or I'd have related to that earlier.

Please wait patiently. I'll contact you via pm to the 3java3z account unless they solve the problem for you first.

Do you want everything merged under 3java3?

This just in from Support: Please fill out this form:

https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/14/create/10142

Read it carefully, please. You want to merge accounts, so choose that.

This should fix everything if done correctly.

I just cleared out the cache once again, but this time restarted the computer. Same issue. Can't login in with the previous account. I do not understand why there is a different email, since I got a notification this morning on the same email account as before the crash happened that took wincustomize down for what was it, 3 weeks?

Try logging in with a new Private window and see if that works.

Gave it a shot, tried the old login within a private window. No dice.

You got the email on the 3java3 email address because that account still exists as does its email.

The issue is you created the new 3java3z account. It has a different email than your original 3java3 account.

sdRohan sent me the link for you to use. No one but you can do that. It has a place for the old and new emails so SD can merge the accounts. You have to choose which goes where. Read the choices.

Merge your 3java3z account with its email into the 3java3 account with its email.

If you don't understand how to fill out the form or if you need more help with it go to this link:

I figured it would be a good idea to change my password after what happened to the site. It was pretty easy but it's essential that the email address is the right one.

Quoting 3java3z,

Thanks for the vote of confidence, my friend. This one's out of my purveyance, though. Thankfully some really good folks in Support peeked over my shoulder and set me straight on what 3java3 has to do. k6
