WindowBlinds 11.06 Release Feedback

With the WindowBlinds 11.06 release today, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Reporting an issue:

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive service (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube), and links included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  A link to a trial version would be appreciated if any app is not common.

Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

windows 22H2 19045.5131

Started install of WB 11.06 about 9pm. It is now 12am, I still have a command prompt open in ...\appdata\local\temp\_ir_sf_temp_0\setACL.exe "processing ACL of public\documents\stardock\windowblinds, and a message box "installing services." This is an update to 11.04.

I have had WB installed for 8 years on this machine, along with Fences (5.8.8.5) and Start11 V2.5.2.

Task Manager shows occasional activity for both of these.

What do I do?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I am on Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5737), but I have no issue installing and running WB11.06. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I have some explorer issue, texture does not display under explorer toolbar but the problem's gone when mouse cursor move over Title bar buttons.

It looks like you are using something to alter your Windows Explorer which may be a factor here.
