it will not install .  personal pc and says blocked by admin.  tried turning off uac and virus protection

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get those numbers.
  2. Are you using ESET antivirus? If so, please review this guide: https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#notinstalled.
  3. Are you using ARM base CPU system?

Sorry, I thought this was messaging and not forum.

i turned off all antivirus and UAC to min.  But it is Mcaffee.

It is Yoga 9i ultra pc.  I'll have to check the details when I get home on windows version 11.  I contacted "Stardock" to just end activation.  It isn't worth this much manipulation and acrobats for paid subscription software.

 

Everything here is too complicated to find on this website as well.  It could be dumbed down considerably :)

It should be easy enough for normal user, just that, sometimes system security too tight and need to be loosen up a little bit for application to do some changes in system GUI to make Windowblinds work properly. What error popup when you tried to installed?
