Hi.

I only bought Start 11 because I was in the belief it would get back some common sense from window 7 now that Microsoft Windows is a mess, imo.

But I now find when opening a favourite link with Start11 in Windows 7 style I keep getting a Prompt saying ‘File Download – Security Warning ‘ it’s completely annoying and effects my productivity Big Time.

It never use to do this when I bought Start for Windows 10 can you tell me how to fix this .Regards.

I haven't run into your problem here in forums, nor am I a Support person, per se, but Stardock doesn't use bots in any of the forums, and never has. I can tell you Start11 is not security software and so wouldn't throw you such a warning. It's more likely the antiviral on your machine that's acting up. You might add your question on your antiviral's forums/Support.

That's a Windows thing I think for files marked as download from the internet.

Nothing to do with Start11 itself.
