Clicking on lower portions of apps passes the click to the taskbar (autohidden)

I have my taskbar set to auto-hide in Start11 (currently 2.51, but has been occurring for ever I think, through various versions of Windows 11).

When I click at the bottom of apps, it's as if the taskbar is visible and the click action is passed to whatever would be there (app tab, shortcut, whatever) if the taskbar was not hidden.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

EDIT and of course, after countless times I've been cursing, I just found out (after posting, of course) that I should disable the OS auto-hide option...)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, please check if Windows autohide taskbar is disable. If it is not please disable it and try again. To be sure restart explorer.exe.

If it still happen or it already disabled. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products . Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Also, please include few more information.

  1. Windows full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. Do you have any other application that might interfere with Start11 taskbar control.
  4. A video showing this issue, might help us understand the issue better.

Not sure if I edited my message before your reply or not, but that was it - I had never noticed that the system autohide option should be off. I left my message up for others to see...

Thanks!
