Weird behavior when clicking on combined groups

I have my groups combined together in the taskbar. Lately, whenever I click the group, the window shows up for a second then goes away. I usually have to click the icon group twice.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information:

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build numbers. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Groupy full version number.
  3. This happen on any Groupy group or specific application Grouped?

  2. Groupy 2.2
  3. Any groupy group.

I can not recreate your issue on my system. Would like to suggest to try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

Next, please try Cleanboot, to check if something else is causing the issue, please refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#cleanboot. Do note that Cleanboot steps need to be done carefully.

Did the issue appear while in Cleanboot mode? If it does not that enable the disabled software load on boot one at a time and see if the issue reappear. If no, than enable another one and reboot until the issue reappear. If it appear, than you know the last enabled software is causing the conflict/issue. If no issue appear after all of it is enable, than, it might be due to your original account was corrupted.
