Taskbar icon showing in all virtual desktops

Hi. I'm using Fences, Start11 and Groupy since I want to facilitate my multi monitor setup workflow.

I have a Groupy group open in another virtual desktop, but the icon shows in all virtual desktops:

Is there a way for this not to happen? Wether it's through Groupy directly or somehow from Start11? I don't want the Groupy icons to show in  a virtual desktop they are not open.

Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version number.
  3. Groupy full version number.
  4. Fences full version number.

Thank you,

Hi. Sorry for the lack of info.

Windows 11 24H2 26100.2894

Groupy2 2.15

Fences 5 5.86 R8

Start11 v2 2.5

But I had this problem even before installing Fences and Start11, Groupy was the first one I bought

I can reproduce your issue on my system. But, if you change the Groupy taskbar buttons for Grouped windows appear to Show only active Windows or Show all, close and reopen all the grouped app again, does the issue still appear?

Thank you,

Hi. Thanks for the quick response.

With the other options this doesn't occur but that isn't viable for me since "show all" clutters my task bar instad of decluttering it, and "show active" confuses me since I wouldn't know which of my icons is the tabbed one; the ideal for me is the combined button, is this a bug or is there a way to make it only show on the virtual desktop it's open? I would be so thankful is this could be solved, was the main point for me for buying Groupy but I do work with virtual desktops all the time and this breaks the purpose.

Thanks!
